Worth noting

• Dodgers left-hander Ted Lilly, on the disabled list with a neck issue, is scheduled to throw a simulated game Friday afternoon at Dodger Stadium. The club is considering moving Lilly to the bullpen when he's activated.

• The Dodgers did not make any roster moves Thursday after six relievers combined for nine scoreless innings during Wednesday's win over the D-backs in 14 innings. While Chris Withrow was unavailable after going three innings, Mattingly said he expects to have the rest of his bullpen at his disposal.

"We didn't really overuse anybody besides Chris," Mattingly said. "We should be pretty good."
