•  Outfielder Oswaldo Arcia continued his struggles at the plate on Friday, recording a golden sombrero with four strikeouts. He entered play Saturday having struck out in 11 of his previous 13 at-bats.

•  Reliever Ryan Pressly rolled his ankle fielding a ball in the fifth inning of Friday's game, but Gardenhire said he's fine. He was available to pitch on Saturday.
