Worth noting

• Former catcher Ivan Rodriguez will be inducted into the Rangers Hall of Fame on Saturday, and the club will also recognize former owner Brad Corbett.

Rangers CEO and fellow Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan and Rusty Greer will be among those who pay tribute to Rodriguez during an induction ceremony before Saturday's game. Former Rangers scouting director Sandy Johnson, who originally signed Rodriguez out of Puerto Rico, will be among those in attendance.

Rangers Hall of Fame catcher Jim Sundberg will honor the memory of Corbett, who passed away in December. Former American League president Dr. Bobby Brown will also be in attendance. Corbett owned the team from 1974-80.

The on-field ceremony will begin at 6:25 p.m. CT, with first pitch against the Orioles moved back to 7:15 p.m.

• Jeff Baker returned to the Rangers' lineup Friday as the designated hitter and hit fifth after being activated off the disabled list.

• The Rangers are expecting more than 50 former players to be in town this weekend with autograph sessions scheduled in the concourses from 5-5:30 p.m. Saturday and 4:30-5 p.m. Sunday.
