Worth noting

• Left fielder Josh Willingham, who had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on July 3, is about a week away from baseball activities, according to Twins manager Ron Gardenhire. There's still no official timetable for his return, and he'll need to go on a rehab assignment once he's healthy.

• Right-hander Nick Blackburn was promoted from Double-A New Britain to Triple-A Rochester and is expected to make his first start there on Tuesday. Blackburn is coming off wrist surgery and has made five starts this year in the Minors, posting a 3.80 ERA between the Gulf Coast League Twins and Double-A.

• Right-hander Vance Worley was placed on the 7-day Minor League disabled list with right shoulder inflammation. Worley is expected to miss his next couple of starts and flew to Florida to rehab his shoulder at the club's Spring Training complex in Fort Myers.

• Outfielder Wilkin Ramirez, on the 7-day disabled list since May 26 with concussion-like symptoms, has resumed light workouts at Target Field, as his headaches are starting to go away. But there's still no timetable for Ramirez, who will go on a second rehab assignment once he's declared healthy.
