Worth noting

• The Giants were involved in one of four 1-0 games Saturday. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, it's only the second time in history that four 1-0 games occurred on one day (Sept. 2, 2001).

• Entering play Sunday, the Giants were hitting just .194 (48-for-247) with runners in scoring position in their past 31 games and had recorded two hits or fewer in that situation in 26 of their past 32 contests.

• A Cubs sweep would be their first in San Francisco since Sept. 13-15, 1993. The only other time the Giants have been swept at home in 2013 was earlier this month against the Mets.
