Worth noting

• Neftali Feliz threw in the bullpen for Triple-A Round Rock on Thursday without any problems and is expected to pitch in a game at some point this weekend. Feliz, coming back from Tommy John surgery, has made three appearances on rehab assignment, but was shut down for a few days because of mild tendinitis. The Rangers are still hoping he'll be ready to return in September.

• Elvis Presley passed away on Aug. 16, 1977. Elvis Andrus went into Friday with multi-hit efforts in four straight Aug. 16 games. He is 8-for-15 with two doubles and five walks on the anniversary of the King's death.

Travis Blackley pitched three scoreless innings from Round Rock on Thursday. It was his first appearance since being acquired from the Astros earlier this week.
