Worth noting

• The odds certainly didn't favor the Rockies rallying to beat the Marlins, 3-2, on Friday night. Before Friday's victory, the Rockies were 5-54 when trailing after seven innings, while the Marlins have a 31-1 record when leading after seven innings.

Jhoulys Chacin's seven-inning performance Friday in his 12th victory helped the Rockies improve to 14-7 when their starter pitches seven innings or more.

• Rockies rookie third baseman Nolan Arenado had a double Friday, giving him 35 extra-base hits. His 22 doubles rank him second in the Majors among rookies entering Saturday. Over Arenado's last 31 games, he's batting .325 with six doubles, two triples, two home runs and 14 RBIs, and he's hit safely in 26 of those 31 games.
