Worth noting

• Catcher Mike Zunino went 0-for-5 with four strikeouts Wednesday while playing DH for Triple-A Tacoma in his second rehab game since returning from a broken hamate bone in his left hand. Zunino is 1-for-7 with a triple, two walks and three runs scored in his two games.

Manager Eric Wedge said reports from Tacoma were positive.

"Everything is on course. He feels good and looks good," Wedge said.

• Former second baseman Dustin Ackley has found success at the plate since changing positions in midseason. While playing as an outfielder, Ackley has hit .319 in 41 games going into Thursday's action. In 44 games at second, Ackley hit .206 this year.
