Worth noting

• Gonzalez opted to give Justin Upton another chance to rest his bruised left hand on Saturday, leaving him out of the starting lineup for the second consecutive night. But Upton entered as a pinch-hitter in the bottom of the 10th inning, grounding out to third base in his first at-bat since being hit by Ubaldo Jimenez's 92-mph fastball on Thursday. Upton remained in the game to play left field and is expected to be available to return to the starting lineup on Sunday.
