Worth noting

• Before shortstop Chris Owings made his Major League debut on Friday, D-backs manager Kirk Gibson talked with Didi Gregorius to let him know Owings was going to start. Owings went 0-for-3 and started again on Saturday while Gregorius recovers from an illness.

"Yesterday, he was really dizzy," Gibson said. "It's nothing that he has done wrong. … He's a young kid, he's had a good year for us. He started out on fire, they made some adjustments to him, and he struggled a little bit recently. It's part of the process. … He's finding his way."

Gregorius is batting .260 in 93 games.
