Worth noting

Bobby Abreu, a non-roster invitee, started in right field and went 0-for-3 Sunday. In eight spring games, he is batting .111, going 2-for-18.

"His batting practices are very impressive. He's still yet to put together a big game offensively," said Sandberg. "He's getting some work in in right field, and today we made the adjustment of having him play a little bit more shallower in right field, more of a proper lineup for right field, where he's been a little bit too deep, which is a comfort zone thing when you're first out there, keeping everything in front of you. So now, today, we moved him in, and we'll continue to look at him and continue to see at-bats and see him in the outfield."

• Although the Phillies came from behind Sunday, their offense continued to struggle. The Phillies had just two hits and were held hitless until Gwynn's single leading off the sixth. As a team, the Phillies are hitting .194 this spring, with a .311 slugging percentage and .284 on-base percentage.
