Worth noting
• Nationals right-hander Doug Fister (lat strain) threw from 120 feet on flat ground Tuesday and didn't report any pain. Fister is not expected to pitch in a big league game until sometime in May.
• Because of the off-day Monday, manager Matt Williams was able to line up his rotation. On Tuesday, left-hander Gio Gonzalez started against the Marlins, while right-hander Jordan Zimmermann will face Miami on Wednesday.
Righty Stephen Strasburg is set to throw against Miami on Thursday afternoon, while righty Tanner Roark will pitch the first game of the Braves series Friday in Atlanta. Righty Taylor Jordan will start Saturday.
