Worth noting

• Shortstop Andrelton Simmons entered Wednesday with a triple and a home run in each of his last two games. He is just the second player in franchise history to accomplish the feat after Willard Marshall on July 21-22, 1951. Simmons is also the only player in the Majors with at least 30 at-bats without a strikeout.

• Despite the loss of three starters, the Braves' rotation has a Major League-best 1.80 ERA, and a starter has not allowed more than three earned runs in the opening 13 games of the season.
