Worth noting

• Outfielder Oswaldo Arcia, on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to April 5 with a right wrist strain, hit in the cages on Thursday. He's expected to take batting practice on the field at Target Field on Friday and he could be sent out on a rehab assignment by early next week.

• Right-hander Matt Guerrier made his first appearance with Triple-A Rochester on Wednesday night and recorded two outs without giving up a run. He struck out one and walked one. Guerrier, who is coming back from surgery to repair the flexor mass in his right elbow, has a May 8 opt-out date in his Minor League contract.
