• Two relievers on the mend, left-hander Sean Burnett (elbow) and right-hander Dane De La Rosa (elbow) have pitched in simulated games, and will work in extended spring training games this week.
"They're obviously closer to a rehab [assignment] than they are to getting back to us," Scioscia said.
Burnett last pitched for the Angels on May 21. De La Rosa, a 75-game workhorse in 2013, was shut down early in Spring Training, went through a rehab assignment but went back on the DL after pitching to three batters April 12 against the Mets.
