Worth noting

• Right-hander Tyler Chatwood (strained right flexor tendon) is pain free and working on range of motion exercises. Trainer Keith Dugger said Chatwood had a series of platelet rich plasma injections and will likely have another, possibly on Monday. He could start a throwing program toward the end of next week. Chatwood is on the 60-day disabled list and is eligible to be reinstated June 29.

• Reliever Rafael Betancourt, who underwent Tommy John surgery in September, threw his second bullpen session Friday, a 20-25 pitch effort. He could be ready to begin a rehab assignment around the start of July. That stint would see him pitch at every Minor League level and he could pitch for the Rockies this season. Betancourt was the Rockies' closer the past two seasons, earning 31 saves in 2012 and 16 last season when he went on the DL three times.

• Left-hander Brett Anderson, who suffered a fractured left finger on April 12 and is on the 60-day DL, is about two weeks away from having the pins removed from the finger. He isn't expected back until around the All-Star break.

• The Rockies are giving away bobblehead gnomes at select Sunday home games, and a likeness of Carlos Gonzalez will given to the first 15,000 fans on Sunday. 

"I look like a Chinese gnome," Gonzalez said. "I think it's fun. That's what the fans like. They like to come to Coors Field and get a gift and of course watch the Rockies win ballgames."
