Worth noting

• Second baseman Rougned Odor was scratched from Sunday's game with a sore right wrist so Luis Sardinas started for the second straight game.

• Outfielder Jim Adduci, who has been sidelined since April 19 with a fractured pinky on his left hand, is starting to regain some flexibility and has had the pins removed. But he is not ready to resume taking batting practice.

 • Outfielder Engel Beltre, who has been sidelined since the end of Spring Training with a fractured right tibia, is throwing and taking batting practice. He is still not yet running at full speed.

• Closer Joakim Soria turned 30 on Sunday.

• Class A Hickory pitcher Collin Wiles, who was the 53rd overall pick in the 2012 First-Year Player Draft, has been placed on the disabled list with a sore right elbow.
