• Chris Tillman said his bullpen session on Friday went "great" and Showalter said he's still on track to start on Monday. There had been some concern about Tillman still dealing with a groin issue.

• The Orioles are still deciding whether Tommy Hunter -- on the DL with a groin strain -- will travel with the team on their upcoming road trip.

• Showalter celebrated his 58th birthday on Friday.
