• In the eighth inning Saturday night, left fielder Tyler Colvin caught a routine fly for the second out of the inning and gave the ball to a fan. Again, with two outs. The miscue was "embarrassing," Colvin said, "especially because we were down at that point." Fortunately for Colvin, no runners were on, the Giants came back to win, and he hasn't received any razzing from his teammates -- "yet," he said.
