The Reds signed left-handed pitcher Scott Diamond and second baseman Donnie Murphy and assigned them to Triple-A Louisville. Diamond pitched for the Twins from 2011-13 and spent this season at Triple-A Rochester until his release last week. Murphy, who was released by the Rangers on July 9, batted .196 in 45 big league games this season.
