• Jeff Baker fouled a ball of his foot on Wednesday night. He was available Thursday night, but the foot is sore.

• Jarred Cosart (left oblique) threw a light bullpen session on Thursday at PNC Park, and he is scheduled to throw a full bullpen session on Saturday in Cincinnati. If that goes well, the right-hander will rejoin the rotation and start on Tuesday against the Cardinals at Marlins Park.
