Pitcher to watch: Domingo Acevedo (Yankees' No. 12), Trenton vs. Binghamton (7 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV)
Speaking of promotions, Acevedo has been outstanding since getting a bump up to Double-A Trenton. The 23-year-old right-hander has posted 13 2/3 scoreless innings across his first two starts for the Thunder, with 14 strikeouts and just seven hits allowed in that span. In his most recent turn, Acevedo fired 7 1/3 innings of three-hit ball with nine strikeouts. He's pitched to a 3.44 ERA with 66 strikeouts and 11 walks in 55 innings (nine starts) this season.

Hitter to watch: Chris Shaw (Giants' No. 5), Sacramento at Reno (10:05 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV)
Shaw, 23, homered on Monday for the first time since being promoted to Triple-A Sacramento. He also doubled before finishing 2-for-5, giving Shaw a .286/.318/.571 batting line through five games in the Pacific Coast League, each of which he's started in left field. The 2015 first-rounder (No. 31 overall) received his promotion after hitting .301/.390/.511 with six homers and 29 RBIs in 37 games for Double-A Richmond.
