The main change for New York: Jacoby Ellsbury will return to the starting lineup as the designated hitter, as he was for the Wild Card Game victory over the Twins. Chase Headley, who started Game 1 at DH, will be a switch-hitting pinch-hit option.

The Yankees' top six from Game 1 hasn't changed. Aaron Hicks and Todd Frazier have been swapped in the order from Game 1 -- Hicks will bat seventh today and Frazier has been dropped to ninth. Ellsbury will bat eighth.

For Cleveland, facing a left-hander in CC Sabathia, Austin Jackson moves in for Lonnie Chisenhall at left field and Yan Gomes starts behind the plate instead of Roberto Perez. Switch-hitter Carlos Santana and lefty-swinging Jay Bruce swap spots in the order, with Santana batting fifth and Bruce sixth.
