Today the Yankees traded RHP Nick Goody to Cleveland in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations.
 
Goody, 25, posted a 4.66 ERA (29.0IP, 30H, 15ER, 12BB, 34K) without recording a decision in 27 relief appearances over four stints (4/22-6/26, 7/9-21, 8/1-11 and 9/2-10/2) with the Yankees in 2016. Originally selected by the Yankees in the sixth round of the 2012 First-Year Player Draft, Goody was designated for assignment on 12/15 to make room for LHP Aroldis Chapman on the 40-man roster.
