Puig exits Nats finale with right hamstring tightness

WASHINGTON -- Dodgers outfielder exited Thursday's 6-3 win against the Nationals with right hamstring tightness.
Puig retreated down the tunnel after attempting to beat out a ground ball in the top of the seventh inning. He was replaced in right field by .
Manager Dave Roberts said he does not know the severity of Puig's injury.
Last month, Puig spent some time on the disabled list with a strained left hamstring, after missing 73 games in 2015 with injuries to both hamstrings.
Puig is hitting .256 with seven home runs this season and has been the subject of some trade rumors recently, with reports suggesting the Dodgers could try to offload him before the Aug. 1 non-waiver Trade Deadline.
The Dodgers have been hit with a wave of injuries this month, mostly to the pitching staff. Were Puig to hit the disabled list, he would join , , , and , among others.
On Thursday, Roberts also revealed that catcher is suffering from the same stomach bug that has plagued shortstop this week.
