Puig fires cannon for highlight-reel assist

Throws out Ramirez at second base from warning track

LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig showed off his laser arm from right field in the sixth inning of Saturday night's 7-1 loss to the Brewers as he threw out Aramis Ramirez trying to leg out a double.

Ramirez hit a slicing liner into the gap in right-center field that center fielder Joc Pederson couldn't quite track down, and the ball went all the way to the wall.

Puig was backing up the play and fielded the ball on a bounce off the wall from the warning track. With a quick crow hop, Puig's throw was on the mark without a bounce to nail Ramirez at second base.
