Puig a late scratch with sore left hamstring

CHICAGO -- The Dodgers made a late change to their starting lineup before Tuesday's game at Wrigley Field, a 5-0 win, scratching right-fielder Yasiel Puig because of a sore left hamstring.
Carl Crawford was inserted into the lineup in left field and Trayce Thompson, playing for the first time in two games because of a back injury, moved from left to right field to take Puig's spot. Crawford went 1-for-3 with a run scored, and Thompson went 0-for-3.
Manager Dave Roberts said he sat Puig as a precautionary measure and that Puig is expected to return to the lineup on Wednesday.
"About an hour before the game, he was trying to get loose and said he couldn't get loose," Roberts said. "Hamstring was giving him problems a little bit, so with the wet field, I wanted to err on the side of caution and get [Crawford] in there."
Puig has hit safely in nine of his last 13 games but is just 2-for-13 with an RBI on the current road trip.
