Pirates to offer popular "You Score as the Bucs Score" promotion during Brewers series Augsut 31 thru September 2

The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced the return of the popular fan-value promotion “You Score as the Bucs Score” for this weekend’s three-game series in Milwaukee. Thanks to the promotion, fans will save each time the Pirates score against the Milwaukee Brewers during the Friday, August 31 thru Sunday, September 2 series.

For every run the Pirates score during the three-game series in Milwaukee, fans will receive one dollar off the purchase price of Lower Outfield Box and Outfield Box seats for a game during the three-day series vs. the Houston Astros at PNC Park on Monday, September 3 (Labor Day) through Wednesday, September 5. The regular advance purchase price for Lower Outfield Box seats is $28, while Outfield Box seats are $24. Therefore, if the Pirates score a total of 14 runs this weekend against the Brewers, individual tickets will be made available for just $14 per game in the Lower Outfield Box section and $10 in the Outfield Box section throughout the three-game Astros series at PNC Park.

Games eligible for discount:
Monday, September 3 vs. Houston Astros (1:35 p.m.) Labor Day
Tuesday, September 4 vs. Houston Astros (7:05 p.m.)
Wednesday, September 5 vs. Houston Astros (7:05 p.m.)

Tickets will be made available for purchase 30 minutes following the conclusion of the game on Sunday, September 2 exclusively at pirates.com/howmanyruns. Tickets will also be available for purchase at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, September 3, at the PNC Park box office or by calling 1-877-893-2827. The promotion will run as long as supplies last. This is the second “You Score as the Bucs Score” promotion this season as the Pirates made tickets available during the May 25 thru May 28, 2012 games for just $17.

All three games of the Pirates series in Milwaukee will be televised on ROOT SPORTS and can be heard on SPORTSRADIO 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh and the Pirates Radio Network.
