PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Grammy-winning Zac Brown Band will return to Citi Field for a concert on Aug. 19 as part of its "Black Out The Sun" 2016 tour, the Mets announced Monday. The band previously played a pair of shows at Citi last summer.
Tickets for this year's concert go on sale March 11 at 10 a.m. ET at mets.com/ZBB.
The show is one of several high-profile concerts scheduled for Citi Field this summer. Beyoncé will also play at the stadium June 7 and 8, and the Grateful Dead tribute band Dead & Company will play June 25 and 26. In addition to those standalone events, the Mets are hosting a postgame concert series with Andy Grammer on June 18 and Styx on Aug. 13; tickets for those shows are already on sale at mets.com/concerts.
Zac Brown Band has a growing history of playing at baseball stadiums, including Fenway Park and Wrigley Field. The country/fusion group has won three Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist in 2010 and Best Country Album in 2013.
