Cozart hangs around top of NL All-Star voting

June 15th, 2016

ATLANTA -- Despite his struggles at the plate in June, Reds shortstop Zack Cozart maintained his fifth-place spot in the third National League All-Star balloting results, which were revealed Wednesday.
Last week, Cozart trailed fourth-place vote-getter Asdrubal Cabrera by fewer than 4,500 votes. This week, Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager (476,525) seized an 83,424-vote lead over Cozart (393,101) for fourth. Cubs shortstop Addison Russell (1,170,012), Trevor Story of the Rockies (887,971) and the Giants' Brandon Crawford (501,557) remain in the top-three spots.
