Adam Jones O'Mazing Orioles RBI Player Award
Modeled after the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association's Heart & Hustle Award, the "Adam Jones O'mazing Orioles RBI Player Award" was developed in 2017 to recognize an active Orioles RBI player who demonstrates a passion for the game of baseball and softball, dedication to community service, and commitment to academics.
Prior to the September 20 game against the Red Sox, Jones presented his namesake award to BRANDON CHMIELEWSKI (10-12 baseball division), NEVIN BRANHAM (13-15 baseball division), JUAN LYLES, JR. (16-18 baseball division), JAIDYN HUMPHREYS (10-14 softball division), and MORGAN WHITE (14-18 softball division).
All Orioles RBI players who participated in the 2017 season had the opportunity to apply for the award by answering essay questions and including a letter of recommendation from a coach, teacher, or mentor. Winners were chosen by Orioles RBI Staff. Each winner received two complimentary tickets to a suite for that evening's game against the Red Sox, an personalized certificate, and Orioles fan pack.
