34th annual OriolesREACH Holiday Party for Kids to be held next Tuesday, December 11

Manager Buck Showalter, J.J. Hardy, L.J. Hoes, Steve Johnson and Nick Markakis expected to attend

Current and former Orioles will host 80 first through fifth grade students from Morrell Park Elementary School in Baltimore as part of the 34th Annual OriolesREACH Holiday Party for Kids next Tuesday, December 11, from 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Dave & Busters in the Arundel Mills Mall.  Manager BUCK SHOWALTER along with current Orioles JJ HARDY, LJ HOES, STEVE JOHNSON and NICK MARKAKIS will be joined by former O's AL BUMBRY, CHRIS HOILES, DAVE JOHNSON and SCOTT MCGREGOR for the event.

Players will serve lunch, play games with and sign autographs for the students. McGregor will play Santa Claus and deliver gifts donated by the Orioles and OriolesREACH to each child. Students will play for free in the arcade room courtesy of Dave and Busters.

Additionally, the Right Side Foundation, the personal charity of NICK and CHRISTINA MARKAKIS, has made a financial contribution for the party and will provide an Under Armour drawstring backpack and a new baseball and glove for each child.

Morrell Park Elementary is located at 2601 Polley Street in Baltimore. Students were selected to attend based on a combination of perfect attendance, citizenship awards and making the honor roll. This year's event marks the 34th year the Orioles have held a holiday party for children from economically disadvantaged areas in Baltimore.  A different school is selected each year.
