With the game tied at 3 and one out in the 10th, Adam Jones faced Fernando Abad with two runners on, including Nick Markakis at second base. Brandon Moss quickly picked up the ball and threw to catcher Derek Norris, who applied the tag as Markakis stretched out to touch home plate.
