The Orioles today announced plans for Fan Appreciation Weekend, which will be held Friday, September 23, through Sunday, September 25, when the Orioles host the Arizona Diamondbacks for the final three-game series of the 2016 regular season. The weekend will feature exclusive giveaways, fireworks, and other opportunities for fans to have unforgettable experiences at Oriole Park.
As a "thank you" to fans for their support throughout the season, the Orioles will surprise the most-spirited fans at each game with prizes, including Orioles prize packs and autographed items. Randomly-selected fans will also have the chance to enjoy unique experiences over the weekend including opportunities to take the field with the Orioles starters for the national anthem, deliver the lineup card, tour the grounds crew area, or throw the ceremonial first pitch. Other lucky fans will enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of Oriole Park or the chance to watch an inning of the game with Orioles Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations DAN DUQUETTE. Fans will also be able to interact with Orioles players as they swap roles with Orioles employees around the ballpark prior to Saturday night's game and pre-selected fans will participate with Orioles players in a "Shirts Off Our Backs" Jersey ceremony before the regular season home finale on Sunday. Additionally, following Friday's game, fans can also enjoy fireworks, presented by Johns Hopkins Advantage MD, set to music previously selected by fans on social media.
On Saturday, the Orioles and Maryland Transit Administration will host an Orioles rally for all fans from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Reisterstown Road Plaza Metro Station in Lot D (Vertis Park Drive, Baltimore, MD 21215). Orioles public address announcer RYAN WAGNER will serve as the emcee and the Oriole Bird will make an appearance at the event. Former Orioles BRIAN BASS, AL BUMBRY, and KEN DIXON will attend and sign autographs for fans from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Fans can park in Lot C next to the Reisterstown Road Plaza Metro Station.

• All fans will receive a Maryland Flag Orioles Cap presented by DAP.
• Orioles players will participate in a pregame "Shirts Off Our Backs" Jersey Ceremony presented by Snapple where 15 Orioles will take the field pregame and give their jersey to pre-selected fans. Fans will give the jersey back to each player for the game, but will receive it back and autographed by the respective player once the season concludes.
• All fans 14 and under get the chance to run the bases after the game.
