ROBERTO CLEMENTE AWARD CEREMONY
The Orioles will present infielder CHRIS DAVIS with the Roberto Clemente Award, the most prominent individual player award bestowed by MLB, during an on-field ceremony. Davis earned the Orioles 2018 distinction due to his family's ongoing work with many charities in and around the Baltimore community, including the University of Maryland Children's Hospital, Casey Cares, Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, Inc. (BARCS), Christian Youth Athletics, and the OriolesREACH Gameday Experience Program. This is his second-straight year earning the nomination. Fans can vote for the overall winner of the Roberto Clemente Award at mlb.com/clemente21 until 12:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, September 18. 
As part of a league-wide initiative, the Orioles will also recognize Hispanic Heritage Month by wearing "Ponle Acento" t-shirts during batting practice on Tuesday. 
SEPTEMBER 11 COMMEMORATIONS
The Orioles will join Major League Baseball and all other clubs to honor and remember those whose lives were affected or lost on September 11, 2001. Additionally, the Orioles will observe a moment of silence pregame, and will have a performance of "America the Beautiful" during the seventh-inning stretch. On-field personnel and umpires will also wear caps with a "We Shall Not Forget" silhouetted batter ribbon patch during the game. 
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12
SOUTHWEST AIRLINES "TRADING PLACES" EVENT
On Wednesday, Orioles pitcher MYCHAL GIVENS and catcher CALEB JOSEPH will participate in the Southwest Airlines "Trading Places" promotion at BWI Airport. The players will take part in a variety of jobs performed by Southwest Airlines employees, including boarding passengers for a departing flight, supporting the arrival of Southwest Airlines aircraft, and more. 
BARK AT ORIOLE PARK
Fans who purchased a now sold-out special ticket package will be bringing their dogs to Oriole Park when the Orioles host the second and final "Bark at Oriole Park" event on Wednesday. Each dog will receive a doggy bow tie upon entry. Five dollars from every ticket sold benefits the Baltimore Humane Society. WBAL-TV Channel 11 will serve as the media partner for the event. CAMDEN, WBAL's 'Puppy with a Purpose,' and SUNNY, the TODAY Show's 'Puppy with a Purpose,' who are both training to become service dogs for disabled veterans or first responders with America's VetDogs, will be in attendance. UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA NIGHT
The Orioles will welcome students, alumni, and supporters of the University of Virginia to celebrate UVA Night at Oriole Park on Wednesday night, the first of four University Nights this homestand. NATIONAL ANTHEM: Baltimore Symphony Orchestra 
The Orioles will welcome members of the brass and percussion sections of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, led by Associate Conductor NICHOLAS HERSH, to perform the national anthem prior to Thursday's game against the Athletics.
ALUMNI AUTOGRAPH SERIES
Every Monday and Thursday home game, former Orioles players will sign autographs on Eutaw Street as part of the Orioles Alumni Autograph Series. LARRY BIGBIE, STEVE JOHNSON, and BILL SWAGGERTY will be on hand on Thursday to meet fans and sign autographs from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
MORGAN STATE UNIVERSITY NIGHT
As part of nearly a dozen University Nights at Oriole Park this season, the Orioles will welcome students, alumni, and supporters of Morgan State University on Thursday. Ticket packages include a game ticket and a co-branded Orioles cap featuring Morgan State's colors and logo. All fans in attendance for the 7:05 p.m. game against the Athletics will receive an Orioles This Is Birdland t-shirt, the final t-shirt giveaway of the season.
