The Orioles today announced a new partnership with CityWide Youth Development that will bring 7th Inning Sorbet to Oriole Park at Camden Yards beginning on May 8. As part of the partnership, CityWide Youth Development will provide 15 employment opportunities at the ballpark for local youth, while 50 percent of proceeds from each sale will help renovate the organization's Economic Development Center.
7th Inning Sorbet, a product of Baltimore's own Frozen Desert Sorbet, will be available at multiple locations around the ballpark including the Kids' Corner, Eutaw Street, and two additional positions on the concourse. The fresh fruit sorbets are low in sugar, non-dairy, and made without high-fructose corn syrup. Each stand will feature four flavors: mango, tropical lemonade, strawberry, and mixed berry. The sorbets will be sold for $5, with 50 percent of each sale benefiting CityWide Youth Development. Approximately 15 youth from the organization's job training program will operate the 7th Inning Sorbet concession stands.
CityWide Youth Development is a nonprofit organization that uplifts underserved communities in the Baltimore region through manufacturing and entrepreneurship. The organization provides job training and employment opportunities for inner city youth, while creating an economic development system geared toward low-income areas around Baltimore. Frozen Desert Sorbet, a creation of CityWide Youth Development, has created over 100 jobs for young adults since its inception.

7th Inning Sorbet joins Flying Fruit Fantasy at Oriole Park, a smoothie stand operated by The Choice Program at UMBC, which offers job training and skills development for Baltimore-area youth.
