Orioles Host 2018 Howl-O-Ween Spooktacular at Ed Smith Stadium

Families from across Sarasota County enjoyed fun hands-on activities and a free movie in the outfield as the Orioles hosted the fourth annual Howl-O-Ween Spooktacular on October 13 at Ed Smith Stadium.

Presented by Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources, the Sarasota Film Festival and the Orioles, the event included arts and crafts, games of skill and a costume parade around the ballpark.

Guests arriving at the ballpark donated food items to All Faiths Food Bank.

Volunteers decorated the ballpark to put everyone in a spooky holiday mood.

Excited guests poured into the lower concourse for fun activities and ballpark treats.

Talk about safe trick-or-treating! Thanks to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office for participating.

Arts and crafts and games of skill provided hands-on activities where the whole family could participate.

The Oriole Bird led the costume parade around the ballfield.

As dusk fell, families gathered in the outfield to watch the movie "Hocus Pocus" on the giant video board.
