PEORIA, Ariz. -- Josh Naylor has always been able to hit, and he has continued to show off his offensive prowess in the early stages of the Arizona Fall League.
The Padres' No. 10 prospect did it all on Saturday, going 2-for-3 with a homer, two RBIs and three runs scored as Peoria topped Salt River, 12-1.

Naylor, who hit .280/.346/.415 with 10 homers and 64 RBIs across 114 games with Class A Advanced Lake Elsinore and Double-A San Antonio this season, has gotten off to a fast start in the fall, batting .400 (6-for-15) with two homers, three RBIs and a pair of stolen bases through four games.
"I'm just trying to help the team win, that's my biggest thing here," Naylor said. "I'm just trying to have fun."
The 20-year-old got the Javelinas offense off to a fast start as he singled, stole second and eventually scored on an error in the second.
Naylor also jump-started a four-run fourth inning as he led off the frame with a homer to right-center field, his second home run in as many days.
"I was just looking for a pitch to hit and I got it," the 2015 first-round pick said. "Thankfully it went out."
Three batters later, Toronto's Lourdes Gurriel, the younger brother of Houston's Yulieski, hit a two-run homer and Ronald Acuna (Braves' No. 1, No. 5 overall) capped the frame with an RBI single.

The Javelinas then broke the game open with a five-run seventh that included a grand slam from Alex Jackson (Braves' No. 16), who hit a career-high 19 homers across 96 games this season with Class A Advanced Florida and Double-A Mississippi.
Blue Jays' No. 5 prospect T.J. Zeuch got the start for Peoria and was perfect through three frames. The right-hander struck out four and fired 27 of his 40 pitches for strikes.

Zeuch handed the ball off to Braves' No. 14 prospectTouki Toussaint, who walked one and struck out four in two innings.
The walk, which came with one out in the fifth, ruined Peoria's perfect game bid, but the club carried a no-hitter through 8 1/3 before Miami's Rodrigo Vigil lined a ball just inside the third base bag for a double.
Toussaint has thrown well in the early stages of the Fall League, totaling eight strikeouts across four hitless and scoreless frames.
"We did incredible," Naylor said. "Everyone was on their A-game, all of our pitchers did great and I'm just thankful to be a part of this great team."
