SAN DIEGO – In partnership with Rawlings Sporting Goods, the San Diego Padres have announced a new Golden Ball promotion for Season Ticket Members throughout the 2022 regular season.

Beginning Friday, May 6 and continuing once per homestand thereafter, custom Rawlings baseballs with golden stitches will be mixed in during Padres batting practice and launched into the stands during exclusive Member-only early entry periods (2:00pm for 5:40 games, 3:00pm for 6:40 games). Those lucky fans who catch or retrieve the golden balls will be able to redeem them for a replica Padres jersey of their choice at the Padres Team Store (located on Street Level, Section 126, of the Western Metal Supply Co. Building at 215 Tony Gwynn Dr.).

The remaining dates for the Golden Ball promotion during the 2022 season include May 27 vs PIT, June 8 vs NYM, June 20 vs ARI, July 7 vs SF, July 16 vs ARI, July 29 vs MIN, August 23 vs CLE, September 7 vs ARI, September 21 vs STL, and September 30 vs CWS. Golden Ball events are open to all Padres Season Ticket Members throughout the season and select Members will be invited to watch from special reserved outfield seating locations. These Members will be contacted approximately 7-10 days prior to each scheduled batting practice date to RSVP via their Ticketmaster Account Manager.
