Vice President, Chief Hospitality Officer
Scott Marshall enters his sixth season with the Padres, his fourth as vice president, chief hospitality officer. Marshall was promoted to his current role in November 2014 after joining the Padres in January 2013 as vice president, concessions and retail. In his current role, Marshall is charged with developing and implementing the overall hospitality strategy for the Padres and Petco Park by building brands, creating new concepts and driving fan experience.
Prior to the Padres, Marshall spent 25 years with Centerplate, one of the largest hospitality companies in the world, with more than 250 North American sports, entertainment and convention venues. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of innovation and fan engagement, directing the company's overall strategy for CRM promotions & programs, best practices, new innovation and emerging technologies.
Marshall earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of San Diego. He also attended and played football at the University of Southern California. He and his wife, Nicol, reside in San Diego. They have three daughters: Taylor, who attends University of San Diego, Madison, who attends Saint Mary's, Notre Dame, and Riley, who attends UC Davis.
