While not a Phillie, congratulations go out to Mahlon Duckett, one-time second baseman on the Philadelphia Stars of the Negro Leagues, who turned 90 in December.
As a special surprise birthday gift, he received a Phillies jersey with his name on the back. Scott Palmer, Rob Holiday and Ken Johnson of the team's front office were there for the birthday party hosted by Mahlon's family.
