Get Closer to the Game with a "Spring Training Experience" at Phillies On-Deck Series, March 29 & 30

Fans urged to arrive early for prizes and surprises!

Fans are getting an extra-special welcome back to Citizens Bank Park this weekend with a unique, spring training-like atmosphere during the Phillies On-Deck Series on Friday, March 29 (7:05 p.m.) and Saturday, March 30 (1:05 p.m.).

Both games versus the Toronto Blue Jays will feature plenty of prizes and surprises. Gates open at 5:35 p.m. (Ashburn Alley at 4:35 p.m.) on Friday and 11:05 a.m. (Ashburn Alley at 10:35 a.m.) on Saturday.

Highlights include:

  • From the time gates open, fans are urged to be on the lookout all around the ballpark - you never know where you might bump into your favorite player from the 2013 team!
  • Pre-game autograph opportunity with Phillies alumni, Tommy Greene*
  • Special merchandise discounts throughout the ballpark
  • Live entertainment around the ballpark including local talents Modern Bliss, Class A Kings and Speaker City
  • Plus, all fans will receive a xpedx 2013 schedule magnet on Saturday

Fans who are unable to attend can still be a part of the excitement by tuning into the live broadcast on The Comcast Network on Friday, PHL 17 on Saturday and 1210 WPHT/94 WIP for both games.


Saturday: Fans should be aware of dual events taking place at the sports complex.  In addition to the Phillies vs. Blue Jays game, the Flyers will take on the Bruins at the Wells Fargo Center at 1:00 p.m.
