Injury ends Lannan's outing vs. Braves early

ATLANTA -- Left-hander John Lannan left Wednesday's game against the Braves in the second inning because of an injury to his left knee.

Lannan, who missed two months earlier in the season because of a strained quadriceps tendon in the knee, struggled early, allowing two runs in the first inning, and he exited with the bases loaded and one out in the second.

All three of those runs scored, raising Lannan's ERA to 5.33.
