The Phillies and The GIANT Company are teaming up to host their annual Summer of Giving, featuring unique contact-less events that celebrate healthcare heroes, as well as organizations that provide valuable services to those in need.

“We’re excited to host this great lineup of summer events with The GIANT Company, all created in the spirit of giving,” said Michele DeVicaris, Director, Phillies Charities & Community Events. “From Phanatic-pizza deliveries to our healthcare heroes, along with virtual Phillies fun and games for seniors and families battling illness, we hope to bring lots of cheer to those who need it most.”

In addition, Phillies Charities, Inc. has donated over $100,000 in grants this summer to various non-profit organizations including the city’s Playstreets Program, which provides a safe, fun place for Philadelphia’s children to play in the summer. Other charitable grants were also awarded to the Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission, Bethesda Project, Magee Rehabilitation, Police Athletic League, and the Tug McGraw Foundation.
