1/23/19: Phillies College Winter Summit

Phillies College Winter Summit took place on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. There was a Phillies Networking Hour which included an opportunity to take photos with the legendary Larry Bowa and World Series Trophies in the Diamond Club. Networking included Phillies and major league guests, the ability to take a self-guided tour to the Phillies batting tunnels, clubhouse and media room. Guest were able to learn more about the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs (PICPA) member service, and enjoy appetizers, compliments of PICPA. Attendees were able to stop by the Phillies Red Goes Greek table to meet the Major Leaguers Moderator: Phillies Broadcaster Tom McCarthy, Phillies General Manager Matt Klentak and Manager Gabe Kapler. Chat with Phillies catcher Andrew Knapp, outfielder Dylan Cozens, and pitchers Nick Pivetta and Héctor Neris. Baseball analytics with Assistant General Manager Ned Rice and Director, Baseball Research & Development Andy Galdi. There was also a Behind-the-Business of Baseball with Phillies' Jackie Cuddeback, Vice President, Partnership Sales and Corporate Marketing; Michael Harris, Vice President, Marketing & New Media; and John Weber, Senior Vice President, Ticket Operations & Projects. Guests were also given an opportunity to go behind-the-scenes at Major League Baseball with Billy Bean, Vice President & Special Assistant to the Commissioner and Renée E.
