1/21/19: Phillies MLK Clinic

In celebration of MLK Day, the Phillies and Chevrolet teamed up to give back to the community and a hosted a free, fun-filled baseball clinic for young ballplayers. Area youth playing ball through the Phillies MLB Urban Youth Academy and RBI program gathered at the Ryan Howard Training Center, where they took part in an instructional clinic led by Phillies outfielder Nick Williams, 1993 National League Champions Mickey Morandini and Milt Thompson, and RBI alumni. The free baseball clinic, sponsored by your local Chevy dealers, focused on advancing the players' skills, such as hitting, pitching and fielding techniques. This event headlines Phillies' MLK Day of Service, as players arrived back in town for a week of community events.
