Phillies Family Serves Holiday Dinner to Homeless Shelter

A Phillies tradition of more than 19 years continues! On Monday, December 16, more than 200 deserving community members and staff at Bethesda Project's Our Brothers' Place - one of the largest homeless shelters in Philadelphia - were served a holiday dinner by the Phillies family. All the holiday meals were donated and prepared by Phillies front office volunteers, with 25 turkeys provided by GIANT Food Stores. Among those serving the dinners include Phillies' Managing Partner John Middleton, President Andy MacPhail, General Manager Matt Klentak, Manager Joe Girardi, broadcasters Ben Davis, Gregg Murphy and Larry Andersen, alumni Mickey Morandini and Dickie Noles and Director of Public Affairs Scott Palmer.
