Shane Victorino Retires as a Phillie

2008 World Series Champion Shane Victorino retired from his career in baseball as a Phillie during an emotional on-field event prior to Friday's game against the Marlins. Victorino thanked the fans before making the ceremonial first pitch, which included a few surprises for the Flyin' Hawaiian. Among them: two navy seals dressed in Hawaiian gear parachuted into the ballpark to make an amazing first ball delivery, and '08 World Champion teammate Ryan Howard was catcher for his ceremonial first pitch. Phillies Managing Partner John Middleton and Chairman David Montgomery also took part in the festivities, presenting Victorino with a specially-designed, custom glove.
