Video review awards Marte three-run homer

MILWAUKEE -- For the second time in three games, video review credited a Pirates player with a home run.

Tuesday night's reversal was a big one. Starling Marte's sixth-inning drive to center, originally ruled a two-run double, was changed after a review of a few seconds into a three-run homer that gave the Bucs an 8-7 lead over the Brewers.

Center fielder Carlos Gomez's leap for Marte's drive may have blocked the vision of second base umpire Mike Everitt, who originally had ruled that the ball bounced off the top of the wall back into play.

In Sunday's game, a drive by Garrett Jones off the right-field wall was originally ruled in play, and he ran it out for a triple. The video review credited him with a home run, part of the Bucs' 9-0 win over the Cardinals.

Marte's home run was the fourth of the game for the Pirates, finishing their comeback from a 7-3 deficit.
