Harrison leaves game with hamstring discomfort

July 15th, 2018

PITTSBURGH -- Pirates second baseman Josh Harrison exited Sunday's game with the Brewers, which the Pirates won 7-6 in extras, after five innings due to left hamstring discomfort.
Harrison clearly aggravated his left leg while running out his ground ball to Brewers shortstop during the fifth inning of Sunday's game at PNC Park. Harrison came up limping down the line, hobbled back to the dugout and did not return.
replaced Harrison at second base in the sixth inning.
Harrison missed more than a month earlier this season after sustained a left hand fracture when he was hit by a pitch in Miami on April 15. The 31-year-old infielder, a potential trade candidate if the Pirates decide to deal veteran players later this month, is hitting .249/.291/.340 with four home runs and 23 RBIs this season.
